Spa Therapists from Tarn Tara Spa demonstrate Thai Nora Massage at the Spa Lover Community launch
WORD ON PHUKET SPAS: A collection of authentic Phuket spas put on demonstrations of their unique therapies derived from traditional treatments at Sukko Spa on Friday to launch an online spa lovers community.
Promoted on Facebook fan page ‘Spa Lover Corner‘, the participating spas at the event showed off their signature treatments in the watery surroundings of the Sukko Spa’s main lobby.
Therapists from Tarn Tara Spa, one of the longest-established traditional spas in Phuket, demonstrated their new Thai Nora Therapy, which is based on the study of movements in southern Thailand’s traditional Nora dance.
Therapists from The Raintree Spa demonstrated the spa’s signature tin stone treatment, for which the therapist places tin ore stones next to the upper and lower parts of the patient’s body before performing an oil massage. Of course it was also a chance for Sukko Spa to demonstrate their special Thai massage treatment, too.
